Can You Trust Paper Shredder Ratings?

It has become more popular for web sites to offer places for customer feedback on the products they either like or dislike after purchase.  While this may discourage sales of some products, it is better to have the customer ratings to weed out the less than worthy products than to have a higher volume of unhappy customers and a long line at the customer service desk!  Complaints about customer service in general have risen because of the tendency to hire people who have only been trained to keep the dissatisfied at bay rather than providing quality service to aid the customers and promote a more positive environment for all involved.

Ratings about paper shredders can be found on store sites, office supply sites, manufacturer sites, blogs and more.  The lower ratings on paper shredders seemed to be primarily from the personal type shredders.  For the most part, the complaints seem to be that the shredders are listed to have a higher capacity input than they are actually capable of.  This is poor advertisement on the part of the company who makes or sells the shredders and makes the consumer shy about buying future products of the same brand.

Save Money on your Purchases by Taking Advantage of the Rebates Offered

Many manufacturers offer mail in rebates to encourage consumers to buy their product. The way these rebates work is that you have to pay the full price for the product when you get it. Then you fill out the rebate information and mail it in along with a copy of your receipt. They will then send you a check.

However, you will be amazed at how many people fail to get around to sending in the information for their rebate. Most offers have a set time frame so it is a good idea to get the information in the mail as quickly as possible. They either don’t want to mess around with the process or the simply forget with so many other things taking place in their life.

Since it can take weeks to get your rebate in the mail, it is a good idea to keep a file of the rebates you have mailed in. Always make a copy of the rebate information and the receipt before you mail it in. This way you have proof of your purchase and a phone number to contact them if you don’t receive the rebate in a timely manner.

How To Find A Paper Shredder That Is Affordable?

In an effort to prevent identity theft you can get a quality shredder that is still inexpensive. Like many other markets the shredder market is very competitive and if you know what to look for you can get a very good deal. If price is your number one buying factor then let’s see what features you want to included with your new shredder and what you want do without and still have a great machine.

One of the first considerations is security. Strip cutting shredders may work well but they are not very secure as most produce shredded strips of 3/16″ or 1/4″ that could be re-assembled by a savvy identity thief. This wouldn’t be the first time these professionals have accomplished such a thing. Remember they are professionals and will stop at no end to steal your information.

Why Would You Want A Hand-held Paper Shredder?

Most paper shredders that come to mind are electrical, about the size of a small bathroom trash can.  If you don’t want something that size because of your limited amount of storage space, yet still want the security of destroying personal mail or other data you’d prefer not to share with others, maybe a hand-held paper shredder is for you.

One such hand-held shredder is called the shredder hand and resembles a mutated pair of scissors!  It does indeed bring to mind something that would surface in a horror movie, but it is the most basic of paper shredders and would be wonderful for the traveler who has limited storage in their luggage.  No batteries are needed, no electrical outlet, just your own ability to operate a pair of scissors!  It would be a great addition to your arts and crafts tools.  Even for someone living in a tiny space, like a boarding room or a studio apartment, a hand-held paper shredder could be a good idea to protect their valuable paperwork that needs to be destroyed.  An Aihon shredder has 9 connected blades, sells for $17, and is certainly something you’d want to keep out of reach of children.

Getting the Home you want at a Price you can Afford

The topic of real estate can be very tricky as the market continually shifts. Sometimes it is a buyer’s market out there with plenty of homes to choose from. Other times the seller’s have the upper hand as more people are looking for quality homes than there are available in the area. Getting the home you want at a price you can afford is going to take some effort on your part. However, since purchasing a home is likely to be the biggest investment you ever make it is well worth it to do your homework before you sign anything.

One of the best ways to do this is to find a home that is worth less than you can afford and then do some repairs and remodeling. If you have the time and the ability to do this on your own you will save a fortune. It can be very expensive to hire a contractor so think about this option only if you are up to the task of completing the majority of the work on your own.

Deal Locker!

Well we have a great site to review today.. as you know we like to keep an eye on oneline discounts on this blog – there area always great deals to be had on the web and we think that online couplons are one of the best ways to save.. apart from the fact that the variety and range is often better on the web that you will find in any one department store, you save yourself the time and gas it takes to get yourself to the mall and back.  Where I live it can be quite an ordeal on a Saturday morning to even find a parking space at the local mall, so I’d much rather shop online.  Free online coupons, many involving free shipping, means that online coupons really add up in the savings stakes.

As for deals, Deal Locker, at DealLocker.com, offers a service that online shoppers would greatly appreciate. At this website, it is possible to look for coupon codes, which are the online equivalent of discount coupons. That is, these codes make it possible to avail of discounts and other special offers at a variety of online stores and shops. For example, skinstore.com coupon codes can be used at that website to avail of lower prices for products at that store.

Coupon codes for many other shops exist, and can be easily searched for at Deal Locker. This innovative service combines the convenience of being able to search through information with the useful resource of coupon codes. The coupon codes at DealLocker.com can be viewed classified according to store or category. These categories include ‘beauty’, ‘food’, ‘jewelry’, and so on, and can help narrow down the choices.

There are also categories for country specific codes, such as ‘Australia’, ‘UK’, or ‘Germany’. The website is very simple and accessible. The main feature of the home page is the search box which can be used to look for specific coupons. There is also an ‘Add Coupon’ feature via which users can add new coupon codes to the growing pool. All in all, Deal Locker is a very useful service that is worth keeping an eye on.

Save Money Shopping for Clothing at Thrift Stores

On average, most people clear out their closets at least twice per year. All of the clothing they no longer wear it taken to charity locations and thrift stores. Many people donate clothing items that they only wore a couple of times or that still have the tags on them. The most common thrift stores to find such clothing are the Salvation Army and the Goodwill. Both of them inspect clothing for stains and tears so you can be sure you will find good quality clothing for men, women, and children at very low prices.

Many people think these thrift stores only carry outdated clothing but that is simply not the case. Children often outgrow clothing before it has been worn out or the style has faded. There are also plenty of clothing articles that never go out of style including t-shirts and denim jeans. While you may not find the same styles offered at the trendy retailers in the area you will find plenty of quality clothing for less than you will pay for it anywhere else. I have walked out of such thrift stores with bags of clothes that cost me less than purchasing one outfit at a retail store.
